Celebrations, Grade 2

In-Classroom Programming

For this 90-minute program, Museum of Dufferin staff travel to your classroom! This program will lead students to explore several different winter celebrations and traditions. They will compare these traditions to find similarities between them, along with reflecting on their own celebrations.

Hearth & Home, Grade 3

In-Museum Programming

This program takes place onsite at the Museum of Dufferin. In this full day program, students will participate in interactive learning stations as they explore the history of Indigenous Peoples & Early Settlers in Dufferin County. This is an immersive experience, students will have access to three historic buildings, the interpretive garden and the Historic Corbetton Church.

Complete Communities, Grade 7

In-Classroom Programming

A Complete Community is a place where most of your daily needs can be met, ideally within a 15 to 20-minute walk. In this 1-hour program, students will learn about the concept of Complete Communities, why they are important and try their hand at building their own Complete Community.
